What an absolute triumph last night was! On Saturday September 5th, the Leitrim Listeners Folk Club hosted an unforgettable evening of storytelling, brilliant musicianship, and soul-stirring traditional tunes that left the room spellbound from the very first note. The event takes place in the

Leitrim Inn and Blueway Lodge in Leitrim Village.

An Extraordinary Opening Act

The night kicked off with a powerhouse trio: Aoife Duignan, Mossie Martin, and Michael McKenna.

• Aoife Duignan enchanted the audience with her crystal-clear vocals and masterful delivery, breathing vibrant new life into every lyric.

• Mossie Martin brought incredible fire and finesse to the stage with his fiddle playing, weaving intricate melodies that showcased the absolute pinnacle of traditional craftsmanship.

• Michael McKenna complemented them seamlessly, driving the rhythm and atmosphere with his deeply engaging accompaniment. Together, their chemistry was electric, offering a masterclass in folk performance that immediately captivated everyone in attendance.

Dots O'Connor Takes the Stage

Following such a high-caliber opening, Dots O'Connor stepped up to the plate and kept the momentum soaring. With a commanding stage presence and a deep, authentic connection to the folk tradition, Dots delivered a stellar set.
